Public Values in the Algorithmic Society: AlgoSoc's festive opening event

The festive opening of AlgoSoc, our 10 year research program Public Values in the Algorithmic Society, is taking place on Wednesday November 29th in the historical buildings of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in the centre of Amsterdam. Key partners from academia and society are invited.

The program features keynotes from Prof Lina Dencik (member of the AlgoSoc Scientific Advisory Council), Sarah Chander (senior policy advisor at European Digital Rights organization EDRi), and Prof Corien Prins (co-PI of AlgoSoc, Chair of WRR and recent laureate of the Stevin Prize, one of the highest award in Dutch science for her role as ‘liaison officer’ between academic research and government policy in the area of law and information technology, in particular on the rights of citizens in an age of increasing digitalisation).

The festive opening is a private event and can only be attended upon invitation.
